James Castle

James Castle RSA is a British sculptor, living in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Born in 1946, in Aberdeen, Scotland, Castle has work in public collections in Scotland and England, and in private collections across the world. The majority of his sculpture is carved, much of it from limewood, and subsequently painted. Like many other sculptors, drawing is an integral and reflexive part of his practice.
